About Seth

On July 28, 2003, Seth Meiller's 24-year journey on this earth came to a tragic end.

Born and raised in Lutherville, MD, Seth attended Loyola Blakefield for both Middle and High School. He was an accomplished lacrosse player and volleyball player. His volunteer work started early as a counselor at the St. Vincent Center for abused children in Baltimore.

Seth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 2000 with a double major in Philosophy and Psychology. Highlights of his volunteer work during college included: working with abused children, tutoring children in English and raising money for the BC Campus School by running in the Boston Marathon in 1999.

Seth became an accomplished rock climber and then used his talent teaching young boys, girls and adults - not only how to climb mountains but giving them confidence to do so. Seth lived every day of his 24 years to the fullest. He put his heart and soul into everything he did, and more often than not, it was to help those who were less fortunate.

Seth was an incredible son, an amazing brother and a wonderful best friend to many. We miss him dearly. The memory of his smile, the love of his friends, and his insatiable desire to make the world a better place are the things that keep us going.
