About Seth Meiller Foundation

Plans for the Seth Meiller Foundation began soon after his death, primarily in response to, and in recognition of the outpouring of love and generosity from Seth's relatives and friends.

We were amazed when we realized that over $26,000 in contributions was received to assist two non-profit organizations that were very close to Seth's heart. We saw an opportunity to create the Seth Meiller Foundation to support other causes and organizations that are representative of Seth's interests.

That year's generosity resulted in fulfilling our desire to establish a long-term scholarship fund at Echo Hill Outdoor School. This program is targeted to allow kids from the Baltimore City Public School system to attend Echo Hill and experience the best of environmental education.

Ongoing projects of the Foundation aim to provide continued support to inner-city children, to handicapped special education students, and to support adult programs to raise environmental awareness. Financial information including distributions and assets since our inception are fully available.

The Foundation, therefore, seeks to support people and programs that, like Seth, will make the world a better place.
